Gambling involves financial risk and can cause serious harm.

MGA Reviews provides industry reporting, regulatory information and technology tools. We do not operate gambling services, accept bets, hold player funds or provide gambling accounts. Our content and Licence Checker should not be interpreted as encouragement to gamble.

What a licence check means

An active licence result indicates that a matching authorisation appeared active in the relevant regulatory source when the information was last checked. It does not guarantee that a service is suitable, legal in the user’s location, free from financial risk or endorsed by MGA Reviews.

Gambling is not a way to make money

Gambling outcomes are uncertain. Never gamble with money required for housing, food, bills, debt repayments, education or other essential expenses. Do not borrow money to gamble or attempt to recover losses by gambling more.

Practical safeguards

  • Set fixed spending and time limits in advance.
  • Do not chase losses.
  • Avoid gambling while distressed, intoxicated or under pressure.
  • Use deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools.
  • Review account statements and transaction history.
  • Take regular breaks.
  • Spending more time or money than intended.
  • Hiding gambling from other people.
  • Borrowing money or selling possessions to gamble.
  • Chasing previous losses.
  • Missing bills or financial commitments.
  • Gambling interfering with work, relationships or sleep.
  • Feeling anxious, distressed or unable to stop.
