Copyright, Database Rights and Permitted Use

This policy applies to content, databases, tools and other material made available through mga.reviews/.

Our rights

MGA Reviews has invested substantial time and effort in collecting, checking, matching, organising and presenting gambling-licence and regulatory information from multiple public sources.

To the extent provided by law, copyright, database rights and other rights may protect the selection and arrangement of databases, collected and structured contents, verification and matching work, normalised entity relationships, classifications, annotations, historical records, editorial content, software, interfaces, graphics and presentation. All applicable rights are reserved.

Underlying public information

Regulators and public bodies remain responsible for their original registers and source material. MGA Reviews does not claim ownership of individual public facts merely because they appear in our tools. Our rights concern the original work and substantial investment involved in collecting, verifying, combining, structuring, maintaining and presenting that information.

Permitted use

  • Perform ordinary individual Licence Checker searches.
  • Use individual results for personal or internal business research.
  • Share links to public MGA Reviews pages.
  • Quote limited editorial extracts with clear attribution and a link.
  • Use material where expressly permitted by applicable law.

These permissions do not include bulk, systematic or automated extraction.

Prohibited use

Without prior written permission, you must not scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically query the website; download or reconstruct all or a substantial part of a dataset; repeatedly extract smaller portions cumulatively; use automation to collect results; mirror, cache, republish or redistribute the database; create a competing or substitute product; resell or sublicense data; use substantial content or data to train or enrich AI systems; circumvent rate limits or access controls; reverse engineer non-public interfaces; remove rights notices; or misrepresent MGA Reviews material as your own.

The automated-crawling restriction does not apply to conventional public search-engine indexing that respects our technical instructions and directs users to original MGA Reviews pages. Nothing restricts uses expressly permitted by law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Commercial access

Businesses requiring recurring, bulk, integrated or commercial access must obtain written permission or a data-licensing agreement. Contact [email protected].

No implied licence and enforcement

Public visibility does not grant a licence to extract, reproduce or reuse material beyond the permissions above. Failure to implement a particular technical restriction does not constitute consent.

We may take proportionate protective steps, including restricting access, preserving evidence, requesting removal of copied material and pursuing available legal remedies.

Permission requests

Requests should identify the material, purpose, commercial status, audience, amount and frequency of access, and requested licence period. Send requests to [email protected].
