MGA Reviews collects and organises regulatory, licensing, company and market information for its journalism, databases and technology products. Individual tools and datasets may provide additional product-specific methodology and limitations.
Source hierarchy
We give preference to gambling regulators and official registers, legislation and government publications, regulatory decisions, court judgments, company filings, audited financial statements, stock-exchange announcements and direct statements. Secondary sources may provide context but do not normally override an applicable primary source.
Collection methods
Information may be collected through manual research, structured imports, automated collection, public interfaces and downloads, official-publication monitoring, direct communication, and AI-assisted research and organisation. The method depends on the source’s structure, availability and permitted use.
AI output is not treated as an authoritative source. Editorial content and material data decisions are reviewed by a human before publication.
Standardisation and matching
We may standardise company names, trading names, domains, licence identifiers, statuses, activities, jurisdictions, dates, regulatory actions and corporate relationships. The original source remains authoritative.
A brand may differ from the legal company holding its licence. We may use legal names, trading names, licence numbers, domains and other identifiers to connect records. Similarity alone does not confirm a relationship; ambiguity should be reviewed or marked as uncertain.
Updates and conflicting information
Datasets are refreshed as official sources change and updates are identified. Where practical, products should display the source, source date, last-checked date and known limitations.
When credible sources conflict, we consider legal authority, publication date, entity scope, corrections and differences in terminology or reporting periods. Unresolved uncertainty may be described rather than concealed.
Limitations
Information may be incomplete or delayed because a source has not updated, a register is unavailable, information is unstructured or in another language, an entity has changed its identity or domains, publication is limited, manual verification is required, or the jurisdiction is not yet covered.
We do not guarantee that a dataset is exhaustive or suitable for legal, compliance, investment or financial decisions.
Company submissions and corrections
Organisations may submit supporting information, but it is not accepted automatically. Material claims should be checked against an appropriate source. Payment or affiliate participation does not permit an organisation to alter regulatory facts or remove material historical information.

Independence
MGA Reviews is independent of the regulators, operators, suppliers and affiliate platforms represented in its data. Inclusion does not constitute endorsement, certification or approval.
