The MGA Reviews Licence Checker helps users compare casino brands, operators and website domains against official public gambling-licence registers. It is a research and verification tool for consumers and industry professionals; it does not issue licences, provide legal advice or replace verification with the relevant regulator.

Each regulator structures and describes its information differently. Available fields may include legal entities, trading names, approved domains, licence numbers, permitted activities, authorisation status and regulatory actions.
How a lookup works
A user can submit a casino name, operator name or website address. The tool normalises the value and compares it with relevant fields in supported registers. Depending on technical availability, a check may use information obtained directly from a register or a recently synchronised copy of its public data.
Possible matching fields include legal company name, trading or brand name, domain, licence or account number, authorisation and other published identifiers. Ambiguous results should not be treated as confirmed matches.
Understanding statuses
An “active” result means that a relevant official source identified a matching licence or authorisation as active when the underlying information was last checked.
It does not mean that every website using the brand is authorised, every product is covered, the operator may accept players from every country, the regulator guarantees the operator, or MGA Reviews recommends it. Compare the legal entity, licence number and approved domain—not merely the brand name.
No result or uncertain result
A “not found” result does not prove that a business is unlicensed or unlawful. Names may differ, a brand may operate under another company, a register may omit a field, source data may be delayed, or the operator may be licensed by a regulator not covered by the tool.
Multiple licences and location
An operator may hold several licences, each with its own scope and geographic relevance. One active licence does not establish that the operator may target users in another jurisdiction. Verify the licence applicable to your location and the specific domain.
Freshness and limitations
Licence information changes through approvals, renewals, suspensions, revocations, surrenders, enforcement actions and domain updates. Results are point-in-time assessments, not permanent guarantees. Where available, results should show the source and most recent verification time.
Search privacy
The Licence Checker is a one-way lookup tool and requires no account. Searches are not associated with a named individual and are not used to create user profiles. Submit only casino brands, operator names, licence identifiers or domains.
Commercial independence
Results are based on regulatory data, not commercial relationships. An operator cannot purchase an active status, alter a result or pay to remove an adverse regulatory status. Affiliate participation does not determine the result.
